Korea’s toughest men join together for a hardcore and heart-thumping action in THE WILD, which is now showing in cinemas nationwide.

South Korea’s A-List and veteran actors Park Sung- woong, Oh Dae-hwan, Oh Dal-su, and Joo Seok-tae join forces and star in a crime-action movie to remember.

The Wild follows the story of Woo-chul (Park Sung-woong), a former boxer who is sentenced to prison after accidentally killing an opponent in an illegal boxing match. Years later, Woo-chul is released earlier than expected due to his good behavior. Now given a second chance, he aims to turn over a new leaf and forget about his dark past to live a quiet life. But his old friend, Do-sik (Oh Dae-hwan), keeps him from doing that and invites Woo-chul to join their gang. And no matter how much Woo-chul refuses the invitation, he finds himself involved in Do-sik’s never-ending war with a corrupt police detective, Jeong-gon (Joo Seok-tae), and a drug smuggler named Gak-su (Oh Dal-su).

A series of street fights, unending threats, and full-on action moments follow, and no one will rest until someone ends up dead.

Will Woo-chul ever have the chance to turn things around? Or will he forever be entangled in a life of unlawful doings and gang wars?

Also starring rising Korean actress Seo Ji-hye, The Wild is a film by Kim Bong-han, who also directed notable Korean Films such as The Golden Holiday in 2020 and Ordinary Person in 2017.

The director expressed the time and dedication he had spent in creating this film; “I worked on it for an extremely long time to make it a well-polished film.” He also shared how he wanted to give today’s audience a Korean film noir experience and make it as immersive as possible by creating detailed and breathtaking action scenes. “I wanted to make a Korean noir that’s both heartless and humane at the same time,” said Bong-han.

From Ascendio., CO. LTD., JNC Media Group, K-Movie Entertainment, and Viva Films, this is an action-movie event you wouldn’t want to miss!
