Mother Lily Monteverde of Regal Films—now known as Regal Entertainment—just turned 80 last August 19 (her 80th birthday bash last year was her Chinese age) and she had a party at her own party place, #38 Valencia Events Place in Quezon City that same day.
This year’s party, as all her other birthday celebrations in the past, was well attended by friends from all segments of her life: business, Chinoy community, politics, and of course, showbiz.
At 80, Mother’s wish is to be able to do more of the thing she loves best—making movies.
