The person behind that soulful, soothing voice that gave new life to songs such as Rivermaya’s “241” in 100 Tula and Itchyworm’s “Di Na Muli” for Sid & Aya is the same person that’s giving you the LSS [last-song syndrome] now with the song “Awit Natin,” the theme song of Para sa Brokenhearted. Her name’s Janine Teñoso, Viva Records and Viva Films’s OST Princess.

Hindi lang singer ang 19-year-old na si Janine, she also writes her own songs at isa dito, ang heartbreak song na “Fall,” na siyang naging debut single niya last year after niyang mag-sign up sa Viva Records.

At this point in her relatively new career, mukang hindi paaawat si Janine. Thus, we can’t help but ask her if she’s apt to grab the listening ears away from Moira.

Here’s pikapika’s one-one-one interview with Janine.
