While we are experiencing rainy season, actor John Estrada and his family are enjoying lots of bright sunshine in Italy’s tourist destinations.

Summer in Italy is the best time to visit popular cities such as Rome, Florence, and Venice, whose rich cultures and fine dining experiences offer visitors a chance to truly see and taste the beauty of Italian living.

You can also partake in summer festivals, a number of outdoor performances, and concerts and visit one of its many stunning beaches, explore museums, and other tourist sites.

To make his trip more memorable, John is on a vacay mode with his seven-year-old beautiful girl Aneckha and wife Priscilla Meirelles.

Bringing with him his funny demeanor, the 46-year-old GMA-7 actor also finds resemblance of Italy’s tourist spots to different places in the Philippines.

On his Instagram, John shared last Friday, July 12, multiple short videos of them strolling around the streets of Rome which he claimed that it’s just like Baguio, a mountain town in the Philippines famous for its unusually cooler weather.

They also took photos of the famous Colosseum or also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre. In ancient times, it was used for gladiatorial contests and other public performances. For John, it’s a mirror of our country’s famous Intramuros, a home to Spanish-era landmark.

Their next stop was at the Altar of the Fatherland also called The Vittorio Emanuele II Monument or Vittoriano which reminded him of Quiapo, referred to as the Old Downtown of Manila.

After finding wonders in the cities, John and his family went on to see Sorrento, a town in Italy famous for its sweeping water views. He said, it looks similar to our very own Tagaytay Highlands.

He posted another series of pictures showcasing Amalfi coast Italy with sheer cliffs and a rugged shoreline dotted with small beaches and pastel-colored fishing villages. To John, it mimics Mindoro’s port.

John mentioned in his recent IG post that it was exhausting yet fulfilling to be a tourist. His last photo on his feed was taken in Napoli Marina which, to him, resembles our port in Subic.
