Anything can be transformed into art nowadays. Take a page out of Heart Evangelista, Solenn Heussaff, and Lucy Torres-Gomez who veered away from the usual canvass to further immortalize their paintings.

Being a painter and style icon herself, Heart cannot help but combine both. It was last March when she continued to cement her status as such when she became the creative director of the local, homegrown fashion brand Kamiseta.

Take for example this dress she wore last International Women’s Day.

“If this print looks familiar, it’s from a painting I did last year featuring women of all shapes and sizes. Right in time for today which happens to be International Women’s Day. 💐” Heart wrote on Instagram.

On the other hand, if you feel like designing your own humble abode, be like Solenn who decided to showcase her colors via rugs. It was back in December 2018 when the model-painter released her designer rugs in collaboration with Studio Soliven.

Today, August 30, Solenn announced that her first set of designer rugs have come to an end. She cannot wait to release her second one, though!

Another unique way of painting comes in the form of Lucy Torres-Gomez’s plate painting. A self-professed newbie in the art world, Lucy narrated on Instagram how she was taught by her art teacher Lee Mee how to paint. The congresswoman adds a unique twist in this form of self-expression, using a plate.

It looks like Lucy is following the footsteps of her husband, actor Richard Gomez, who is also a painter.
