Viva Records and Viva recording artists led by Sarah Geronimo, naghakot ng awards sa 32nd Awit Awards

Siyam na awards ang naiuwi ng Viva Records and artists mula sa katatapos lang na 32nd Awit Awards, ang annual music industry awards na ipinagkakaloob ng Philippine Association of the Record Industry o (PARI) sa mga itinuturing na best of the best in the music scene.

Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo led the pack by bringing home the Favorite Female Artist award, habang dalawa naman ang naiuwi ni Janine Teñoso: ang Best Pop Recording for  "'Di Na Muli" at Record of the Year para sa  "Ang Awit Natin.”

Hip-hop artist Just Hush bagged the Favorite New Male Artist, habang ang indie pop band na This Band naman was awarded  with the Best Performance by a Group for "Kahit Ayaw Mo Na.” 

Alternative indie band ang tawag sa BennyBunnyBand na ginawaran naman ng Best Novelty Recording para sa kanilang nakaka-aliw na single na  "Loco De Amor." 

Acapellago’s Happy Laderas won the Best Vocal Arrangement award for “Kariton,” habang itinanghal namang Best Regional Recording ang "Hahay" ng Cebuanang si Melody Hodgson (tied with “Ay’ Na Ko’g Labda” by Dumagueteno Kyle Juliano).

And last but not the least, ang Miss Granny theme song na “Isa Pang Araw,” penned by Miguel Mendoza and was interpreted by Miss Granny herself Sarah Geronimo was hailed the Best Song Written for Movie/TV/Stage Play.
