"Lugud" by Soy

Viva Records singer-songwriter Soy (real name Aidyl Yatco) adds "Lugud" to his respectable output of new songs. His usual R&B-inflected songwriting leans towards a tuneful pop progressions in this mid-tempo piece about being in love and wanting to stay that way forever.

Para Kang Papa Mo OST

Label: Viva Records

Any other hubbub surrounding the movie Para Kang Papa Mo takes second tier on the fact that its soundtrack signals the return of the inimitable Mark Bautista.

Singing the main theme song “Pag-ibig Lang” – written by Carl Guevarra of The Juans – Mark Bautista’s voice gives light and warmth to the song’s heavy theme of a love that goes above and beyond all things.

And adding a bit of fun and flair to the sonic proceedings is Yumi Lacsamana's rags-to-beauty themed single, "Dyosa."

My Zombabe OST

The sure-fire comedic pairing of Kim Molina and Empoy Marquez takes off via the Viva Films movie My Zombabe. The movie borrows its sonic tracking from the Thyro Alfaro-written “Hanap Hanap” (originally sung by James Reid). Also included is the OST is the pandemic-era viral hit “Marikit” by Juan Caoile and Kyleswish. Rounding it up is the Wilbert Ross original titled “Di Ko Alam,” which is also the OST's key track.

My Zombabe, directed by Bobby Bonifacio, Jr.,

stars Kim and Empoy with Anjo Yllana, Shirley Fuentes, Gary Lim, Andrew Muhlach, Liz Alindogan, Billy Villeta, Marnie Lapuz, Mark Grabador, Andrea Del Rosario and TikTok star Yanyan De Jesus.

"Ayayay" by Michael Keith

Solo pop music act Michael Keith releases his new single, “Ayayay.” This solid sing-and-dance performer also co-wrote the song with Jin Chan. This built-for-the-club banger puts a groovy, R&B-flavored dance vibe to Michael Keith’s growing repertoire.

"Not Today" by  Henz Inanobe

OC Records' Henz Inanobe is a singer-songwriter whose music is best described as playing in between alternative rock & emo with a little bit of grunge.

His debut single is about what's going on within you when you're in a relationship. As for the song title, Henz thinks it's a way of encapsulating the idea of things getting worse before they get better. He wants Not Today to be a reminder that things always get better, no matter what. Maybe not today. But they certainly always do.

"EOK (Everything's Okay)" by Gilyan Saludes

Gilyan Saludes is another talented singer-songwriter from the OC Records' stable. A Bataan native, his debut single, “My Favorite Move” now has more than 6 million streams.

As for "EOK," Gilyan wants this song to be both a reminder and a placebo that things, no matter how bad, will find its way to being good.

For while the song's message means “Everything’s Okay,” it actually mirrors a situation that you’re really not okay. This, says Gilyan, is the song that he actually sings to himself. And he would like others to have that personal communication within.

"planeta" by Job Luzon

Job Luzón is an artist originally from Bohol, Philippines but is now based in Manila. He has joined several songwriting competitions but now focuses mainly as producer, songwriter, and singer of his own songs under O/C Records.

His song “planeta" is a metaphor for someone that is special to you—as if you are the moon and that someone is the only planet that you are interested in.

Job likens it to being attracted to a stranger, which he experienced himself. It was when he went for a night out in place filled with famous and good-looking people but he was only interested in someone specific. His eyes kept following her and questions invaded his mind. Who is she? Is she single? Where is she from? Is she with someone? He felt separation anxiety when he went home. Thus, he wrote a song about it.

"Too Fast" by Chosen feat. Vindope

Young R&B act Chosen vibes hard on his latest single “Too Fast” with featured rapper Vindope supplying the groove and rap break on this dance-tinged rap track.

"Nag-iisa" by LeMon Traxx feat. Maro Ignacio

Frequent collaborators Lemon Traxx and Maro Ignacio return with their cool and easy groovin’ new single titled “Nag-Iisa.” Lemon Monreal and Maro are all about feel and this one certainly exudes feels of the good and easy kind.
