Multi-awarded singer-songwriter and hip-hop artist Young JV Kapunan just came up with a new single called “Malandi Ka.” Pero wala daw siyang pinatatamaan among his ex-girlfriends kahit pa siya ng sumulat at nag-co-produce ng kanta under his own label, Not So Famous, and Star Music.
“Batu-bato sa langit,” biro ni Young JV. “But no, it’s not about a specific person. I believe we can all be flirty to a certain extent, may it be subtle or out there … I was asked if I was worried that people may react negatively to the song. I said no, because it can apply to everyone. I just voiced it out as a songwriter.”
Oo nga naman.
The 29-year old Ilonggo—who’s the voice and the brain behind such millennial songs as “Ale,” “Tanong,” “Kulay,” “Bad For Me,” and “Ghost”—is also not worried kung ano ang iisipin ng tao sa pag-e-endorse niya ng Fasclean Extra Power Detergent ng Megasoft Hygienic Products, Inc.
Unknown to many, the former ESA (Entrepreneurs School of Asia) Entrepreneurship student is also one civic-minded fellow. He founded the Lahing Bayani Foundation, Inc. in 2009 and he set it up to help orphaned children of soldiers with their schooling. Pero sa ngayon ay sa Thames International siya naka-enrol and he is taking a seven-month course on business.
He is also touring the country to promote FasClean in the provinces kung saan nagagamit nang husto ang pagka-performer niya.
