Singer-actor Ronnie Liang is grateful to the Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo after she accepted his request to be one of the guests on his concert Love x Romance this coming Friday, November 8, at Music Museum.
During his presscon last month, Ronnie narrated how he personally asked Sarah to be part of his concert saying, “Noong nag-guest ako sa show niya sa Iloilo, tinanong ko si Sarah kung puwede siyang mag-guest. Sabi niya, ‘Oo naman.’
Ronnie also took advantage of their conversation by asking her if they could also do a song collaboration one of these days.
“At the same time, kinausap ko na rin siya kung puwede kaming mag-release ng song together, like collaboration na ire-release online, Spotify, iTunes..sabi niya, ‘Oo naman, bakit hindi?.’”
He added that Sarah had always been generous to him. He recalled instances in the past when Sarah would build him up to the audience before calling him onstage.
“Nakakatuwa at nakakataba ng puso whenever she introduces me sa stage.
“Sinasabi niya na, 'Ito po ang original singer ng Ngiti. Napakaganda ng boses. Ito po ang dapat binibigyan ng album.' Bini-build up niya ako onstage.”
In the same interview, Ronnie thanked Sarah once again for fulfilling his dream to share the stage with her on his own concert.
"And thank you kay Sarah for allowing me to share the stage with her, sa pag-gi-guest niya sa akin sa kanyang mga concert at sa pag-guest niya sa concert ko."
In his upcoming concert, his bonus treat will be the launch his first-ever duet collaboration with Sarah Geronimo entitled “Liwanag,” composed by Marlon Barrinuevo.
Aside from Sarah, other Viva artists such as Ella Cruz and Janine Tenoso will serenade the guests at the Love x Romance concert.
Again, its happening this Friday, November 8 at the Music Museum.
