Ogie Alcasid took to Instagram on Tuesday morning, September 15, to mourn the passing of his father, Herminio Alcasid, Sr.
“I will miss you so much Dad. My heart grieves knowing you are gone but i am at peace because you are in the loving arms of our Father in heaven. I love you so much Daddy,” the OPM icon wrote on his post.
As of writing, Ogie has made no mention of the reason behind the death of his lawyer dad.
It was in December 2010 when Herminio was appointed to the board of directors of the Philippine National Oil Co. Development and Management Corporation by then-president Benigno Aquino III.
By 2012, he was reappointed as the president and chief executive officer of the state-owned company.
