After leaving show business three years ago, Nikki Gil returns to the spotlight, this time in theatre, as one of the female leads in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Carousel, one of the offerings of Repertory Philippines for their 2020 season.
Nikki was introduced as a cast member last Monday, October 14. She will give life to the role of Julie Jordan and paired with Gian Magdangal who will play Billy Bigelow.
The play about love, forgiveness, and redemption will be staged in May 2020. Nikki made the announcement on her Instagram page, saying she is finally back with her first love and grateful to be working with the play’s director Toff De Venecia and co-star Magdangal.

Known as a singer, actress, and television host, Nikki left showbiz in 2016 after getting married to businessman BJ Albert. Together, they have one son named Finn.
