Michelle Dee, ayaw isiping "Miss Philippines was robbed" sa Miss Universe 2023 pageant; “It wasn't my destiny."

"It was painful. My loss in 2022 really reinforced the feeling that you should never celebrate until the crown is in your head," pagtatapat ni Michelle kay Boy Abunda.

"It was painful. My loss in 2022 really reinforced the feeling that you should never celebrate until the crown is in your head," pagtatapat ni Michelle kay Boy Abunda.

"I would rather choose to say I believe I was prepared for the Top 5. I don't know what I could have changed. I gave a hundred percent of myself," sagot ni Michelle.

"That gown, that iconic gown, which I believe is the basis to get into the Top 5, really deserves more recognition," dagdag pa niya.

Ganu'n pa man, baka hindi raw talaga niya kapalarang manalo sa sinalihang beauty contest.

"Again, as much as I want to say that I deserve to be there, it wasn't my destiny. Do I agree with the 'robbed' part? It's not for me to decide, honestly," pahayag niya.

Sa kabila nito, nagpakatotoo si Michelle na that time ay gusto niyang makapasok sa Top 5 para sa question and answer portion na kanya raw pinaghandaan nang matagal.

"If anything you know, Tito Boy, Q and A is what I trained for the hardest years on... I was actually looking forward to holding a microphone," natatawang pag-amin ng Kapuso actress.

"It was painful. My loss in 2022 really reinforced the feeling that you should never celebrate until the crown is in your head," lahad ni Michelle.

"That's why I never manifest that I am who's going home with the crown. I just wanted to give a hundred percent of myself, really show the Universe what the Philippines had to offer" she added.

"Because at the end of the day, with or without a crown, as long as nandu'n 'yong laban, we shocked the universe, I could sleep soundly at night. I really believed that we gave a solid performance," pagtatapos niya.
