Maymay Entrata could not help her tears as she answered a question about playing an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) during the grand media conference of the upcoming romance-drama Hello, Love, Goodbye last night, July 9.
The movie, which features OFWs in Hong Kong, has a special place in the young actress’ heart as her mother has been working in Japan for 28 years.

Maymay also expressed her gratitude for finally compensating for her mother’s sacrifices through her career in showbiz.
It could be recalled back in January when Maymay posted a heartfelt message about her OFW mother and her realizations about OFWs around the globe.
Mahal na mahal kita ma alam mo yan.” she said on her past Instagram post.
Maymay then told the press how she related to her character in the upcoming Cathy Garcia-Molina flick to her real life situation, seeing how she is miles away from her family with the rest of her relatives in the province and her mom in Japan.
When asked if there is a possibility that her mother might ask her to live in Japan with her, Maymay said it is a long process, but is praying long and hard for them to be together again.

“May half-brother po kasi ako doon so marami pa akong dapat planuhin,” she said. “Hindi po siya madali.”
Maymay is set to appear in Hello, Love, Goodbye starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards. The movie will premiere on July 31 in cinemas nationwide.
