Former PBB (Pinoy Big Brother) housemate-turned-singer-and-actress Maris Racal is happy to have found her niche in the music industry.

Maris, who has successfully launched her first-ever recording album, Stellar, last year has just recently released a new single called “Abot Langit.” The single was her collaborative project with one of the finest OPM artists, Rico Blanco.

The relatively newbie musician is very vocal online about her plans of teaming up with people whom she thinks shares the same interest and passion for music as her. That’s how she ended up working with Rico Blanco in the first place.

During her digital conference last, May 17, the Kapamilya singer-actress revealed the top three artists she would love to work with in the future.

She said: “Si Sue [Ramirez] magaling siya kumanta. Siguro sa outside showbiz na artist si Clara Benin then… suntok sa buwan ’to pero si Unique Salonga.”

Sue is of course, actress Sue Ramirez, who skyrocketed to fame after playing as the third wheel to the KathNiel tandem in the Book 2 of the hit teleserye remake Pangako Sa ’Yo in 2015.

Clara Benin, for her part, is an indie artist and one of the biggest independent musicians in the country; while Unique Salonga is the former frontman of the IV of Spades band, known for their hit single “Mundo,” who is now pursuing a solo career under Viva Records.

Maris also mentioned that if time permits she also wanted to write or produce a song together with her dear friend Loisa Andalio, whom she met inside the PBB house.

P’wede, pwede naman, game naman ako mag-write ng songs to someone, mahirap lang talagang mag-fit sa schedule. For Loisa, siguro gano’n din ’yong theme like ‘Abot Langit’…danceable, pop, k-pop-ish.”
