She may now be Mrs. Fadi El Soury, but she will always be Nora and Boyet’s little girl.
Five days after her Batangas wedding to Lebanese businessman Fadi El Soury, Lotlot de Leon has taken the time to write messages to her adoptive parents, Nora Aunor and Christopher “Boyet” de Leon.
The messages, which were posted on Instagram, came after countless netizens asked why Nora was not present at her daughter’s wedding.
The 47-year-old actress shared how she was taken in by Nora and her mother Antonia, and later adopted by Christopher.
She went on to talk about her mother’s resilience and generosity, as well as Nora’s approach to motherhood.
Lotlot said of Nora: “She tried her best to do her duties as a present mom…
The actress did not explain the reason for her mother’s absence, but said that she wished Nora could have been there to witness her wedding.
Aside from her message to Nora, Lotlot also wrote a touching message to her dad Boyet, who walked her down the aisle at her wedding.
The message was accompanied by a candid photo of the two during their father-and-daughter dance.
Part of her message read: “You have always been there. Always. Everything that I am and hope to be is because of the love and lessons that I have learned from you.
“Nobody has ever believed in me like you do. You have always been present in my life. Thank you dad. I love you!”
