Actress Angel Locsin took to Instagram earlier today to share a video interview she had with an earthquake victim in Makilala, North Cotabato.

In the video, the said victim narrated how the disaster greatly affected their baranggay and that they experienced a landslide following a series of quakes in their area.

Angel uploaded the 3-minute long video on IG and used her platform to call any form of help for the quake victims.

In her post, she also left an update in the comment section writing, “Sa kasalukuyan, nasa Brgy Batasan, Makilala po sila ngayon. Sa may banana plantation. Sa kasamaang palad, namatay po ang kapitan nila habang nag rerescue ng constituents kaya wala po silang leader ngayon. Kabilang po sila sa Manobo tribe.”

Last Friday, November 1, after attending a Halloween party with her celebrity friends, Angel flew all the way to Davao with her fiancè Neil Arce to distribute “a truckload” of relief goods that she herself bought for the victims.

According to the Philippine Red Cross office in Davao Del Sur, Angel helped almost over 300 affected families.

Photos of Angel and Niel participating in the relief operations surfaced online. And Angel instantly received high praises from the public calling her the real-life Darna or real-life Angel.

They also admired her for not involving the media in all her humanitarian service.
