Liza, with her boyfriend Enrique Gil received the sweetest welcome home celebration, from her relatives and friends after staying in America for a couple of months to undergo four different surgeries to get her injured index finger fixed. Most know by now that she had her finger fractured while taping for her drama-fantasy series Bagani in August 2018.
It’s the same injury that caused her to withdraw from her career-defining project, Darna, which she announced April 4 this year.
Event’s stylist Gideon Hermosa shared scenes of the said surprise welcome party on his Instagram account earlier today.
As seen in the photos, they went the extra mile to decorate a single room full of gold and silver balloons with cascading strings of the same colors. Scattered on the floor were candles placed inside a skyscraper-inspired lamps in different sizes, which then exuded cityscape night vibes. And the guests held letters which completed the words: Welcome home Hopie!
The 21-year-old artist, despite being out of the country, never failed to update her fans and followers with her condition using her social media accounts. And now that she’s back and seemed fully recovered, we all can’t wait to see her being active in the showbiz scene again!
