Marco Gumabao took to Instagram to announce that his film Just A Stranger with Anne Curtis just grossed 100 million pesos in sales.
“We made it!!! 100M for a R-16 film in 12 days! Lord you are amazing 🙏🏻 Thank you thank you! ❤️” Marco wrote on his post about the movie’s achievement.
In case you haven’t watched it, this Jason Paul Laxamana flick follows Mae (Curtis) who begins a May-December love affair with Jericho (Gumabao), a man half her age, despite being tied with someone else.
Curtis, the leading lady of the film, commented on Gumabao’s post, congratulating both of them for a job well done while calling him Jekjek, the nickname of Marco’s character.
“Congratulations to us JekJek. I mean, Jericho 💘🍻💋” Curtis told Gumabao. Gumabao replied, calling her “best actress” before thanking her.
Some of their celebrity colleagues did not fail to show support towards the movie’s 100 million peso milestone! Gumabao’s Los Bastardos co-stars Jake Cuenca and Joseph Marco congratulated their fellow “bastardo” for the achievement, the latter calling it a must-see film.
Former Pinoy Big Brother: All In housemate Axel Torres and fashion blogger Dani Barretto also commended the stars for the triumph in sales.
