Julia Montes took to Instagram to pay homage to the show that launched her showbiz career, Goin Bulilit, which will air its final episode in two weeks.

It is quite known now that Julia Montes has taken a sabbatical from social media, only posting her piece during timely events like the passing of comedian Chokoleit and veteran actor Eddie Garcia.

This time, the 24-year-old actress returned from social media hibernation to pay homage to the sketch comedy show Goin’ Bulilit when it announced its final two weeks last July 24 via a teaser trailer.

It could be recalled that Julia was part of the show from 2005-2008, where she got her big break, alongside fellow big stars like Kathryn Bernardo and Jane Oineza. In an Instagram post posted by Julia today, July 26, she reminisced about how Goin’ Bulilit helped her in her showbiz career. She also paid homage to director Edgar “Bobot” Mortiz, the brains behind the show.

Dito ako nagsimulang mangarap, nabigyan ng pamilya at mabigyan ng pagkakataon....” Julia said. “Utang ko sa show na ito ang lahat lalong lalo na sa Mortiz family... Ang unang pamilyang tumanggap kay "Mara" on and off cam.. Ang batang wala namang bibo skills at mahiyain pero tinayaan ng aming Tatay na si Direk Bobot ..”

She also recalled how a lot of hopes were achieved and many unforgettable lessons were learned during her fellow cast members’ stint in the show.

Wag po natin kalimutan manuod ng 2 huling linggo... 😢” she ends the post.
