Julia Barretto feels blessed to be paired with a different actor specifically with Gerald Anderson in Black Ship’s upcoming film entitled “Between Maybes” written and directed by Jason Paul Laxamana.
For the very first time on the big screen, Julia and Gerald will play a fleeting romance between two people who feel lost in their lives and find comfort in each other’s presence.
The young actress revealed that she discovered a different world outside her loveteam “Joshlia” with Joshua Garcia but she assured that their loveteam will remain.
She said, “Marami pa palang, may mundo pa pala outside of it [ loveteam]”
“Not that I’m saying na it’s a bad thing diba, but I’m saying na there’s a world outside of it and it’s a world that I wish everybody could get to experience.”
For Julia, receiving solo projects give endless room for individual growth.
“Importante kasi sakin yung na-nunurture ka bilang isang tao, you’re growth, individual growth. Yung na-nunurture ka to be better, to improve on yourself.”
“You know every person you meet, you learn something, you pick-up something and I’m glad I was able to work with Gerald kasi ang dami ko natutunan”
The Kapamilya artist even mentioned that she shared conversations with Gerald that she can’t talk to other people.
She continued, “Ang dami kong narealize sa sarili ko dahil sa kanya [Gerald] and that applies with every person you meet.”
The 30-year-old actor, being in the showbiz industry for so long, told Julia to enjoy every moment while she was still young.
He said, “22 years old pa lang siya, enjoyin mo every moment kasi mabilis lang yan. Naalala ko nakaupo lang ako dito doing interview nung 17 years old ako and until now na 30 years old. Just enjoy everyday.”
