JK Labajo to a parent who brought over his 2-month-old baby to his concert: “Maraming salamat sa suporta, but please, alagaan niyo si baby.”

In a Facebook video posted by user LifeOfEs, Labajo stopped mid-performance when he saw the baby, asking the parent why he brought her to the concert. “Two months? Ba’t mo pinaparinig ng ‘Ere’ ’yong bata? Two months pa lang, maaga. Huwag. Wala bang earmuffs si baby? Umiiyak na si baby, okay lang ba ’yan?” he said.

During one of his recent concerts, JK Labajo expressed concern over a two-month-old baby brought by her parent to the audience.

In a Facebook video posted by user LifeOfEs, Labajo stopped mid-performance when he saw the baby, asking the parent why he brought her to the concert.

“Two months? Ba’t mo pinaparinig ng ‘Ere’ ’yong bata? Two months pa lang, maaga. Huwag. Wala bang earmuffs si baby? Umiiyak na si baby, okay lang ba ’yan?” he said.

In another part of the video, the musician asked the concert’s staff if they can provide ear plugs to the baby. He, then, cradled the baby, as seen in another clip, comforting the baby while talking to a concert staff member.

After comforting the baby, Labajo reminded the audience, especially the parents in attendance, that children under one year old have sensitive hearing.

“’Yong mga bata, especially one year below, super sensitive pa mga tenga nila,” he said. “Maraming salamat sa suporta, but please, alagaan niyo si baby.”

Netizens who watched the video gave praise to Labajo for handling the situation, with one user saying he’ll be a good father someday.

“He knows better than a real parent,” the user said. “[Although] he’s still single, he’ll be a good father.”
