After the 2019 ABS-CBN Ball held last Saturday, September 14, at the Shangri-La at The Fort in Taguig, singer Jed Madela aired out his appreciation for young celebrities who pay respect to their senior colleagues.
In his personal Facebook account, Madela gave former Pinoy Big Brother housemate Vivoree Esclito a special mention who made an effort to brave the pool of fans to ask the singer if he enjoyed the ball.
"Through a small gesture, that says a lot about a person," Madela wrote on Facebook. "Thank you, Vivoree. I really appreciate it."
What prompted Madela to post his piece, however, was because of an unnamed young star who chose not to greet him during the charity ball. In a group of four young artists, three of them greeted him while one of them chose to just stare at him and continued to dance.
"One just stared at me with her RBF and continued dancing," the singer narrated. "Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. [...] Again, little gestures like this says a lot."
Madela has since edited his post, deleting the part about the unnamed celebrity ignoring him while maintaining his positive words on Vivoree.
