R&B fan favorite Just Hush returns with a vibin’ new song titled “make u mine.” The “Maikee’s Letters” mastermind is all about chillin’ and atmosphere in this mid-tempo number about a-wanting a girl. Just Hush coolly mixes English and Tagalog verses as he samples how cool and grooving he can sound in his first solo outing for 2023.

Janine Teñoso returns with a beautiful new song,  “Sandig.” The hit singer of “Di Na Muli,” “Pelikula” and “Umibig Muli” does it again with a new original in “Sandig," which is a beautiful Tagalog word that means "to lean on" or "to depend on someone."

Janine cleverly uses the word to connote finally finding someone to spend life with and to figuratively rest one’s heart beside another.

Produced by Shadiel Chan, whom Janine met through her Cup Of Joe collaboration (“Tingin”), Janine seems to find a musical kindred spirit and flies high once again with this lilting piece, delivered beautifully by her dulcet voice.

Patutunguhan EP

But the term also takes on a naughty connotation in this Daniel R. Palacio directed film that stars Azi Acosta. Laying a b-ball worthy rap music is Rusty Mandarhyme who performs the main track “Hugot.”

This slow and vibin’ track by Lemon Traxx, Maro Ignacio and JY is the perfect sonic accompaniment to the Vivamax film Tayuan.

"Pinto” draws up images of what happens between lovers inside closed doors and these R&B and rap artists' lyrics definitely suggest that.

It’s sexy, slow grooving and chill as “Pinto” accompanies the sexy scenes on this Angeli Khang starrer that also features Stephanie Raz, Chester Grecia, and Rash Flores. Topel Lee directs.

“Kakaiba,” according to Jade Ivy, is inspired by the story of a man falling in love with a girl who, through his eyes, is “kakaiba” or unique.
