Iza Calzado has won her battle against the COVID-19, as confirmed by her talent manager Noel Ferrer earlier this afternoon, March 30.
Iza has undergone another COVID-19 testing and the results came out negative.
After days of hospital confinement, she can finally go home and is set to get discharged tomorrow after she completes her prescribed treatment of antibiotics.
“It’s an amazing start of the week as we were just told that Iza can go home tomorrow after completing her IV antibiotics!” Noel wrote on his Instagram post.
“Moreover, the good news is - Iza’s retest results came back and she is now negative for CoVid. We would like to thank each and everyone of you for your prayers, love and support especially the doctors, nurses and all the health workers who continuously risk their lives to serve us all at this time.”
The actress first revealed that she suffered from pneumonia last March 25 and after three days, she announced that she tested positive for COVID-19.
She was taping for the upcoming ABS-CBN teleserye Ang Sa Iyo Ay Akin before the Luzon-wide enhanced community quarantine declaration.
We’ll continue to pray for your fast recovery, Iza!
