It is truly one of the best days of the Filipinos when Catriona Gray was hailed as Miss Universe 2018 on Monday, December 17.
Today, December 19, Catriona is scheduled to fly back in the Philippines and the whole country is excited for her return and finally, celebrate her success.
She rode the private plane of the former Ilocos Sur Governor Luis “Chavit” Singson.
Filipinos and the press welcome her with open arms at the Platinum Skies Aviation as she takes pictures with the kids she’s helping in the organization called Young Focus from Tondo, Manila.

Here’s a short recap of Catriona’s whereabouts after winning the title Miss Universe 2018 so far:
Day 1
After the coronation, she did a quick makeup retouch before taking her first official photo in being Miss Universe. She herself can’t believe that she won the prestigious pageant.
She was then reunited with her parents as they shed tears of joy and savored the moment.
The newly crowned Miss Universe shared on her instagram account that she will someday win Miss Universe in a red dress according to her mom.
Catriona beamed in delight as she proceeded to her first press interview.
She celebrated along with the other candidates in the Miss Universe after party.
Day 2
It still felt like a dream to our Miss Universe as she shared a photo on instagram before she met the Princess of Thailand,
