Ethel Booba became emotional today, November 15, in the noontime variety show It's Showtime after announcing that she is already six months pregnant.
At first, the comedienne could not contain her words and suddenly became in tears. She kept saying Anne Curtis' name to indirectly reveal her good news.
It could be recalled that Anne announced her pregnancy last Sunday, November 10, via Instagram.
After she and the hosts celebrated her triumph in the “Tawag ng Tanghalan” segment of the show, Ethel then announced a double celebration when she shared the happy news.
"Ano ba 'yan, naiiyak ako. I'm happy for the gift of life... Double celebration. Double congratulations to me," she said. "Oo siyempre ito na nga. Six months. Kaya nahihirapan akong kumanta, parang lalabas ang bahay-bata ko... Pasensiya na, hindi ako makabuga [sa pagkanta], ang sakit talaga ng puson ko."
Ethel's good friend and It's Showtime host Vice Ganda expressed his happiness for the “Tawag ng Tanghalan” champion.
"Congratulations! We are so happy for you," he said.
In a recent interview on Tonight With Boy Abunda, Ethel expressed her happiness with her non-showbiz boyfriend, chef Jessie Salazar.
The couple has reportedly been together since 2017.
