Every January, hundreds of thousands of devotees flock to the area between the Quirino Grandstand and Quiapo Church to take part in the Traslacion, the annual procession of the venerated Black Nazarene.
Among the miraculous figure’s many devotees is Coco Martin, who credits the blackened image of Jesus for his current success. The actor was one of the performers present last night at the overnight vigil in Quirino Grandstand, where he spoke about his lifelong devotion to the Nazarene.
That same night, Coco also lined up to touch the centuries-old image. One of Coco’s supporters was able to take a video, which is seen below.
Coco has been a devotee of the Nazarene even before he rose to fame.
