Naging open si Bianca King sa nararanasan niyang hirap ng pagiging isang first time at hands-on mom. Kahit na raw team sila ng mister niyang si Ralph Wintle, siya pa rin daw ang naiiwan sa kanilang baby kapag pumasok na raw sa opisina ang kanyang mister.
Natuto raw si Bianca na mag-multi-task dahil kahit na may iba siyang inaasikaso, kailangan pa ring maging priority niya ang mga pangangailangan ng kanyang baby. Sinusunod daw niya ang schedule ng pagpapa-breastfeed, pagpapaligo, pagpapasyal, at pagpapatulog nito.
Pagdating daw ng gabi, doon lang daw mararamdamam ni Bianca ang accomplishment niya bilang isang ina. Na-survive nila ng kanyang baby ang isang buong araw at same cycle daw ang dapat nilang mapagdaanan sa susunod na araw.
Kaya saludo raw si Bianca sa mga babaeng matagal nang naging ina. Inspirasyon daw sila sa mga tulad niyang nagsisimula pa lang.

"Motherhood. Hands on is an understatement for the mama who lives far away from friends and family. Teamwork with dad gets better each week. We are so grateful for his presence. But the raw reality of the days when dad has to work and rest in the other room is overwhelming. The intensity of cycling through breast feeding, changing and soothing is tough and lonely. Every night is an adventure. Some nights we party hard - up all night.
"We need to be resilient handling baby alone while trying to feed ourselves, tidy and squeeze in a bathroom trip while holding baby. All that in survival mode. Sleep when the baby sleeps doesn’t apply to those of us who use that time for chores. I see my friends in the PH with night nurses and nannies. Motherhood with a village is also challenging. I wish I organised more postpartum help in advance. We are so grateful to have had friends and family fly over last minute to cook and clean up after us.
"I’m not the only mama going through this. It will make us stronger but it doesn’t mean we don’t need help. I’ve learned to just say 'please help me' to anyone within reach. Pretty curated pictures are not reality. There are many days of tears, eating standing up while breastfeeding and unglamorous attempts to do 3 things at once.
"Motherhood is the greatest endless marathon we will ever endure. And it’s an honour to be in this role - a little human’s source of food, comfort and security."
Pati raw sa mga dapat na laruan ng kanyang baby ay clueless si Bianca. Pero unti-unti na raw niyang natututunan kung ano ang nararapat sa mental and physical development ng bata.
"I admit I knew nothing about newborn toys and infant development when I gave birth. We had zero toys. But I saw other mums with high contrast cards, squeaky toys, rattles and became guilty I didn’t spend the first few weeks of life helping my baby develop in this way. @lovevery.au makes it too easy. now we are catching up! It’s never too late - we started after 4 weeks. Also if you’re wanting to gift a stuffed toy to a friend’s baby, I say put your money towards a @lovevery kit!" caption pa niya sa IG.
March 29 noong i-announce ni Bianca via Instagram ang pag-welcome nila ni Ralph sa kanilang first baby. Hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa nire-reveal ng mag-asawa kung ano ang gender ng baby nila.
Post ni Bianca: "Coming out of the fog. Felt really good to put something cute on and capture how tiny our little human was on the 13th day after birth. How did this baby fit inside me?! It's been great not having instagram on my phone but it's time to celebrate this little cutie and surviving the early weeks of post partum."
Hindi rin tinago ni Bianca sa social media ang kanyang postpartum belly. Meron si Bianca na tinatawag na "belly recovery collection" kunsaan may update siya sa na-stretch na tiyan dahil sa pagbubuntis. Gumagamit si Bianca ng compression shorts or belly bands para mabalik sa dati ang kanyang tiyan.
Marami pang na-discover si Bianca sa kanyang pagiging first-time mom, tulad na lang ng pag-inom ng colostrum na malaking tulong sa pagbe-breastfeed niya dahil na-experience niya ang magkaroon ng sore nipples.
Naka-base sa Sydney, Australia ang mag-asawang Bianca at Ralph. Kinasal sila noong June 2021. Si Ralph Wintle ay kapatid ng mister ni Iza Calzado na si Ben Wintle.
