Bettina Carlos is now engaged to her non-showbiz boyfriend Mikki Eduardo.
It was last Wednesday night, October 7 when the actress indicated that her relationship with Eduardo has been taken to the next level.
She posted a photo with Mikki and her daughter Gummy, wherein it was noticeable that she is wearing an engagement ring on her left ring finger.
She used the family, hearts, and prayer emoji to announce the blissful news in her photo’s caption.
Bettina’s celebrity colleagues like Marian Rivera, Nikki Valdez, Pauleen Luna-Sotto, and Saab Magalona all expressed their happiness and congratulatory messages for her.
In his Instagram account, Mikki posted a photo of Bettina’s hand wearing the engagement ring, with a simple heart emoji as his caption.
Bettina’s daughter Gummy also made the announcement on her own Instagram page.
“My mommy is engaged woohooo,” Gummy told her followers.
Mikki’s proposal to Bettina was simple yet romantic, based on the Instagram Stories posted by his sister Anj.
Rose petals were laid on the living room floor and Christmas lights lit up the room while a guitarist sang the Steve Curtis Chapman hit “I Will Be Here.”
Witnesses of the proposal were Mikki and Bettina’s close friends and family members.
Bettina was a Kapuso actress before ultimately deciding to move on from show business. She played supporting roles in My Husband’s Lover, Because of You, and Sa Piling Ni Nanay and hosted the cooking show Idol Sa Kusina.
Prior to that, she also became a part of the Kapamilya network, appearing in Magkano Ang Iyong Dangal?, Momay, and two editions of the Precious Hearts Romances series.
After her last appearance in the Kapuso drama anthology Magpakailaman back in 2016, she has not been active in showbiz since, opting to focus on her pastry business.
