Arjo Atayde talks more about Maine Mendoza earlier today during his guesting in a morning talk show Magandang Buhay hosted by Karla Estrada, Melai Cantiveros-Francisco and Jolina Magdangal-Escueta to promote his new movie with Jessy Mendiola dubbed Stranded produced by Regal Entertainment.

The actor admitted that aside from his family and friends, Maine is someone he shares his proudest moments with.

“Sinasabi ko naman kay Maine, yes sinasabi ko sa kanya.” he said.

As reported, both Arjo and Maine admitted that they are still exclusively dating.

For Arjo, he believes that ‘love’ is just a word and what really matters is how he can show it to the other person.

“It’s so easy to say I love you but it’s different when you show it, that’s how I believe in it. So actions speak louder than words as they say and I believe that’s a fact. So it’s just a word, it’s how you’re gonna show them.”

One way of showing his love and effort for Maine is really enjoying her company.

“Clingy ako eh, I love her [Maine] company so much. It’s always something I always look forward too and I’m very thankful for.” he smiles while talking about it.

The 28-year-old Kapamilya artist also describes how he is as a manliligaw in general, “Yeah old school, always. Ever since old school ako, kaya nga pinag-uusapan sa kapatid ko yung pananamit kasi I believe conservative is sexy, that’s how I see it.”

As indicated on Maine’s blogpost with regard to her real relationship with the actor, she already introduced him to her parents.

Upon meeting them [Maine’s parents], Arjo revealed that he actually felt nervous.

“Kinakabahan? Of course meron, since it’s new so may kaba, all the time. But not in the bad way ha yung normal na kaba [kapag namemeet family].”

“It’s still there [kaba], the fun thing about relationship is hindi ka pwede tumigil sa panliligaw. I think that’s the secret for it.” he continued.

He was asked if introduction to parents means the relationship is already serious. “I think everyone agrees that it is another step [introducing to family] diba coming from…” he paused.

“I believe it is, it is something serious.”

Lola Pilar Atayde was also present earlier in the talk show. She was also asked if it is already serious if a girl already introduced the guy to her parents.

“Lahat desisyon niya yan e diba, kasi kung sa puso hindi mo pwedeng pakialaman. See may kanya kanyang pakiramdam no, kung ikaw talaga ay umiibig pano mo yan hihintuin? Patuloy mo no bahala siya. If he’s happy where he is, you should be happy.”

Lola Pilar accepts what his apo wants in life including Maine because that’s makes him happy.

“Mahal ko yan, alaga ko yan nung baby yan. So why not? You know I’m happy for him as I said.” she said.
