Last Saturday, April 4, Anne Curtis took to Twitter to inquire about the plans and next steps of the government as COVID-19 cases continue to rise in the Philippines.
"This is quite alarming. Specially knowing that not everyone can/has gotten tested," the actress wrote. "So what is the plan? What are the next steps? I would like to think that everyone understands we have to take necessary precautions to stay safe, but it would be nice to be given more light on what is to happen while waiting for vaccines to arrive.. so with what hope we have left we can work together as a nation."

Anne received a numerous amount of bashing from her tweets, with some saying that the Philippines is not the only country suffering from a high amount of COVID-19 cases.
Other bashers defended the government, saying the plan is the announcement of enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) in the NCR Plus bubble with health and safety protocols complete.
Anne addressed the bashing a day later by simply greeting them a happy Easter Sunday.
"For those who didn’t ever bother to read the second half of my tweet and have instead opted to lash out with harsh words, GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU! Happy Easter everyone!" she wrote.
