The co- creator and designer of superhero Wave Leinil Francis Yu who happened to be a Filipino as well replied to the actress’ tweet and said that he “would love to see her [Angel] as wave.”

The Filipino designer also unveiled the abilities of Wave [a.k.a. Pearl Pangan] to ABS-CBN news which are water and tech-based.

As a reply to a fan hoping to see her portray the character, Angel, dubbed “Action-Drama Queen” in the showbiz industry, revealed that she’s done with accepting superhero roles.

“Tapos na ko sa superhero roles hehehe :) but kilig na nag reply ang creator :)”
